WORKSHOP · The Fable Method

One story shifts perspective. The group discovers new paths.

The Fable Method is a facilitated space for thought and solutions. A biographical episode is read together, transformed into a fable and used as a compass for a concrete question in the present.

The method within

Four steps from episode to a guiding moral.

The fable creates distance without diminishing experience. Characters, conflict and turning point reveal what the story already holds.

01

Episode

A selected experience or situation becomes the narrative starting point.

02

Characters and forces

Roles, tensions, resources and possible actions take on an imaginative form.

03

Turning point

The story is reordered. A change of perspective reveals alternative solutions.

04

Moral as compass

The essence is translated into clear orientation for action in the present.

Workshop flow

Three phases, one shared path to insight.

Phase 01

Open and focus

The group clarifies the theme, frame and question that needs a fresh perspective.

Phase 02

Tell and transform

The selected episode moves through the four stages of the Fable Method. Observation and imagination work together.

Phase 03

Translate and retain

Insights are distilled into language and transferred into possible next steps for everyday or organisational practice.

What the workshop can create.

  • a protected yet light way into complex themes
  • perspective beyond established problem descriptions
  • visible resources, roles and options for action
  • a shared language for insight and next steps

For organisations

For settings where shared thinking needs new mobility.

The WORKSHOP is designed for education providers, adult education centres, companies, networks, programmes for women founders and organisations.

The method suits transitions, team reflection, resource work, professional reorientation and situations in which a group needs to leave fixed interpretations behind.

Facilitation combines narrative freedom with a clear process. Personal contributions remain voluntary; nobody must disclose private experience to participate meaningfully.
